Relief has a effect on the type of vegetation.

a. The type of land determines vegetation, fertile land are used for agriculture whereas dry and rough terrain have grasslands, woodlands.

b. Sandy soils will have thorny bushes and plants like cactus and mangrove forests, swamps and sandy coastal forests are grown in coastal delta regions.

 Area of heavy rainfall will have dense vegetation than areas which have less or scanty rainfall.
