We know wavelength of red light is more than the violet light.
Refractive index of the prism is inversely proportional to the wavelength of the incident light.

Hence relative refractive index between prism and red light is less than the relative refractive index between the prism and violet light.

Angle of minimum deviation is directly proportional to the relative refractive index by the relation :-
δ = μ-1A     where A is the angle of prism.

Therefore the angle of minimum deviation for red light is less than the violet.
