How does the poet share her helplessness for her mother's condition in her poem?

Please provide the answer to this question urgently with reference to the chapter My Mother at 66.

Dear student
The poet shared her helplessness regarding her mother's condition by comparing and contrasting her with different objects like sprinting trees, merry children, late winter's moon etc . She also revisits her own childhood and how that fear of loosing her mother had been in her since then. After reaching airport she parted ways with her mother by saying " see you amma " with a smiling face, as she accepts the reality that one day everyone has to grow old, its a cycle of life. She fills herself with optimism while saying this statement, reassuring herself that she is going to see her mother again.
Hope this helps!
Regards
