How does uprooting affect the tree?
Dear Student,
In the poem 'On Killing A Tree', the poet tells us that the only way a tree can be killed is by uprooting it. When a tree is uprooted from the soil, the roots gradually wither and dry up. The heat and wind makes the trunk brown and hard and the tree dies.
