Franz hardly knew how to write! And after the announcement to teach German in schools of Alsace and Lorraine, he will now have to stop here...n now he was regretting for not learning the language.....!!
He himself along with his parents n teachers were responsible for this cause. Chirping of birds, soldiers drilling, sliding on Saar and all others things tempted Franz more than the French lessons!!!
His parents preferred to send him to work than to school to earn more money.....
His teacher also used to give him holidays so that the teacher can go for fishing n often send Franz to water the flowers instead of making him learn the lessons!!!
Thus all were to blame....
