How has population explotation effected the environment?

As the population size of an area increases, the demands for food, shelter and other necessities also become high. To meet those rising demands production rate should be increased. More amount of forests get converted to agricultural lands and several industries are formed to supply the demands. As a result environment gets depleted gradually. Ground water volume fails to meet the demand; wild lives have to sacrifice their habitat as well as lives for development. The wastes coming out every moment for the factories and vehicles destroying the atmospheric balance.
