How is 'choice'a core parameter in the study of Economics?

because in economics, resources are scarce in nature and they have alternative uses. So, we have to make choices of utilizing resources according to our priorities. That's why 'choice' is the parameter of economics.

A choice is the core parameter for the study of economics as the scarcity of resources leads to the problem of choice that is when resources are scarce, society can not get all that it wants from the available resources therefore it has to choose which want to satisfy and to sacrifice. To solve this problem we study Macroeconomics.
