A digital camera is quite similar to a traditional camera that takes both video and still photographs except for the fact that digital images can be used, viewed and edited on a personal computer. We can also print the photos through a printer. It can also be used to store pictures in memory. You can connect the camera with your computer and transfer the photographs to your computer. The photos taken by a digital camera are inexpensive, high quality and immediately available as no film processing is involved.

Plsssss like, if you find it useful!

Film cameras use as their recording medium a transparent plastic film, coated with a photosensitive emulation that can capture light intensity & color (in case of a color film). After the application of chemical  developing process, the recorded image is permanently imprinted onto the film, and can then be optically reproduced onto a print, projected through a projector or scanned into a digital file.

Digital cameras are using in place of the film,  a photosensitive digital sensor that converts the analogue image projection to digital color values and assembles a digital mosaic of pixels by interpolating those values, and is exported automatically to a digital image file for further manipulation and/or reproduction.
