How is light scattered by the air

Scattering of the light is a physical phenomena it occurs when the light finds any obstacles in its path. Scattering depends on the size of the particles(obstacle) that cause it.
The scattering of sunlight occurs, when the sunlight pass through suspended air particles present in atmosphere. Sunlight scatters only white light due to its wavelength.
