Government is trying to help street vendors in the following ways:

a.The government is thinking about modifying the law that banned street vendors, giving them place to work. The government has also proposed a legislation which aims at protecting their rights.

b. Hawking zones have been suggested for towns and cities.

c.It has also been suggested that mobile vendors should be allowed to move around freely.

d. Hawkers must set and be part of committees and discuss issues related to them.
