The title is appropriate for the story The Hundred Dresses because in the story a young girl named Wanda constantly talks about having a hundred dresses in her closet, even though she was extremely poor. The story revolves around Wanda designing dresses for the girls and her drawings had the same faces as Maddie and Peggy. It was only because of her saying that she has hundred dresses, everyone teased her. But still, she liked them.
