how low agricultural productivity leads to surplus of labour in agriculture and thus hidden unemployment?

Dear student low agricultural productivity and hidden unemployment go hand in hand.In agricultural countries like India, a lot of people depend on agriculture as their means of livelihood. This has led to overcrowding in agriculture. This has resulted in subdivision and fragmentation of holdings, decline in the area of land per capita, disguised unemployment and almost zero marginal productivity of labour. Low productivity results in lower level of income. Which in turn results in no investment by farmers for their family members in any other means of earning livelihood. Which let's do employment all family members at the same land for the purpose of agriculture which results in disguised unemploymentbecause with the addition of labour there is no additional productivity.
