How many lines of symmetry does a line have ?

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query :

A line have infinitely many line of symmetry to line itself and lines perpendicular to it. But if we say a line segment it has only 2 line of symmetry one the line itself and second the perpendicular bisector.

Hope this would clear your doubt about the topic.

if it refers to a single complety gomeyrical straight line of finite lenght in a plane then a straight line will have only two lines of symmetry. one symmetry line will be perpendicular to line discused and one symmetry line coincides with line discussed
