how many parsec are there in 1 light year -give anwer with full calculation plz

We use 'light year', which is defined as the distance travelled by light in one year, which is of course a very large distance. To measure even larger distance we use 'parsec'. 

1 parsec = 3.26 light years

=>1 light year = 0.307 parsec.
