so, 261= 2 +(n-1)x7

261-2= (n-1)7

259/7=n-1

37=n-1

n=38

therefore, no. of terms are 38

= n = l - a/d + 1

= n = 261 - 2 /7 + 1

= n = 259/7 + 1
