how many total muscles are in human, cat and dog's body

The number of muscles in the human body usually varies between 640 and 850. It is hard to define an exact number as there are anatomical differences in what constitutes a distinct muscle (versus a complex muscle). Secondly, if you look at the muscles themselves, you have 3 types -- Skeletal (voluntary), Smooth (involuntary) and Cardiac. It is believed that the human body has 639 skeletal muscles though some sources also quote it as 640.

Our little furry friends have almost as many muscles in their tiny bodies as an adult human. Humans have 600 muscles in their bodies and cats have 517 muscles throughout theirs.
dog book and it states that a dog has over 500 skeletal muscles... obviously there are the cardiac muscles and the smooth muscles on top of that. but its over 500. REGARDLESS of the breed, that makes NO difference what so ever. small men don't have few muscles than big fat men!
