How many type of Diseases??How many Antibiotic for remove the diseases?

Dear Student, There are many types of diseases. Disease are categorised based on different criteria. Diseases in one category can overlap with diseases in other category. Major categories of diseases are as follows: Infectious and non-infectious diseases Acute and chronic diseases Acquired and congenital diseases The most basic categories of diseases are of infectious and non-infectious disease. Diseases caused by external infectious agents such as pathogenic micro-organisms are called infectious diseases. Ex: diarrhoea is caused by viral or bacterial infection. These type of diseases are further categorised based on the causal organism such as viral, fungal, protozoa, etc. Diseases caused by non- infectious causes are called non infectious diseases.Ex: some cancers caused by genetic abnormalities, high blood pressure caused by excessive weight and loss of exercise, malfunctioning of any body part as in heart attack and arthritis, deficiency diseases such as marasmus, etc Acute diseases and chronic diseases are another categories of diseases based on the duration for which the disease persists. Acute diseases last for only a short period of time. However, they spread rapidly in the body showing intense symptoms. They can be mild, severe, or fatal. Ex: common cold, cough, etc Chronic diseases last for a longer period. They can also be mild, severe, or fatal. Ex: diabetes, kidney stones, elephantiasis, cancer, arthritis, etc Acquired Diseases- Diseases that are acquired by the individual during his/her lifetime are called acquired diseases. They can be infectious diseases such as AIDS or non infectious such as anaemia. Congenital disease – When a disease is present in an individual from birth it is called cogenital. Ex haemophilia, autism, Sickle cell anaemia, Klinefilter’s yndrome, etc Some other categories of diseases are endemic diseases, pandemic, etc Antibiotics is madeup of two words. The Greek word anti means "against", and the Greek word bios means "life" (bacteria are life forms) . So the antibiotic are chemicals produced by microorganisms which are capable of destroying or inhibiting the growth of other microorganism. It is used to treat the infection caused by bacteria. It act by blocking certain biochemical pathways which are essential for the survival of bacteria like cell wall formation, protein synthesis etc. For example: Penicillin is an antibiotic. It blocks the formation of cell wall in bacteria, which makes bacteria weak and ultimately results in death of bacteria. The other examples are cephalosporin, Tetracycline etc. It is not that any particular antibiotic is used for particular disease.so it is not correct to tell the name of the number of antibiotics.
