How many type of tissues??

In humans, there are four basic types of tissue:

• epithelial, connective,
• muscular,
• nervous tissue.

There may be various sub-tissues within each of the primary tissues.


Plant tissues are categorized broadly into three tissue systems:

• the epidermis,
• the ground tissue,
• the vascular tissue.
