How meteors enters the earth's atmosphere?

Dear Student,

The mesosphere is a layer of Earth's atmosphere. The layer below it is called the stratosphere. The layer above it is the thermosphere. Meteors start burning up in thermosphere which is electronically charged and they usually disintegrate in the mesosphere because of the friction between meteors and mesosphere. Maximum meteors burn in the mesosphere. Beyond the mesosphere, meteors don't get burned because of varied temperature and they fall on earth as meteorite.
