how sperm conduct chromosomes?

As you know, sperms are the male reproductive cells, so like other cells they too have a nucleus in which 23 chromosomes are present. At the time of  mating, only sperm nucleus fuses with the egg. These chromosomes combine with the chromosomes present in the female egg resulting in the formation of diploid zygote.
