construct 60 twice then you get 120

to construst 60:

  • take the ruler and draw a line
  • on the line draw and arc of any length,keeping the compass point at the end of the line
  • without changing the length of compass ,draw an arc by keeping the compass on the point where the previous arc had touched the line.
  • now the new arc joined the previous one at  a point,draw a line through it you get 60 degree angle.

now keeping the compass on the point where the new arc touched the old one, continue the steps and you get 120 degree angle.
