say for example we are given with two adjecent sides of READ parallelogram that is RE=6cms and EA=5cms

steps of construction

1. Draw a line RE=6cm

2. taking E as a vertex make an angle 120 degree and mark an arc on this line at the distance of 5 cm from vertex E. The point where the arc cut the line of angle 120 degree, mark it as A.

3. again, taking R as the vertex make an angle 60 degree and mark an arc on this line at the distance of 5 cm from vertex E. The point where the arc cut the line of angle 60 degree, mark it as D.

4. now join the point A and D

READ is the required parallelogram
