how to draw tangents to a circle if centre of circle without using centre.???
Here are the steps of construction:
(i) Draw a circle of desired radius.
Taking any point K on circle, draw the chord KL of any length.
(ii) Mark any point M other than K and L on the alternate arc of KXL.
Join MK and LM. Thus, ÐLMK is formed.
(iii) Using KL as one side and vertex K, draw ray KN making an angle equal to ÐLMK.
The line containing ray KN is the required tangent.
