How to identify each and every acid by just looking at it's molecular formula?

Dear student,

If a chemical formula contains H atoms like HCl, H2SO4. HNO3, we can say that it is an acid.
Again if the chemical formula contains OH species, like NaOH, Ca(OH)2, Ba(OH)2, we can say that it is a base.
Thus By looking at the chemical formula we can predict that the substance is an acid or a base by the above mentioned criteria. However this method is not always true, but it can be considered.
