First we have to find the lengths of the sides and in similar way we have to draw the arcs with compus .So in these way we can draw an equilateral triangle.

Thanks for letting know your concern to us. Your suggestion has been taken into consideration. We keep on adding and updating our animations/videos and content (study material, test papers) from time-to-time, based on our users feedback. We will try to add more videos/animation on this lesson in the very near future. For time being, go through the existing study material and write if you encounter any difficulty in understanding the concept.

it's not arch it is arc

Firstly, you have to make.any line swlegment of you choice measure(like 5cm).Then you have to take that radius(5cm) on compass and mark arc with the starting point of the line segment. Then with other end at the centre point mark another arc with the same measure. Now join the intersection point of the arcs with the starting and end points. Your equilateral triangle is now ready.

Draw a line segment AB of a random measure
then open your compass of the same measure and put it on point B and draw an arc
then put the compass on point A and draw an arc of the same measure
then join the two arc and let the intersection point be C
join A and C and B and C
