Let us assume that the reaction is First order.
Thus the reaction will have to obey the rate law for first order.



K=2.303tlogaa-xK=2.303tlogVV-VtHere V =1.62The value of k is found out for each :time     Vt      V-Vt                                            K=2.303tlogVV-Vt0           0         1.62-0=1.62                          K=2.3030log 1.621.62  = 0Similarly for the second time interval  K is calculated.if the K values come almost equal , it is proved that the reaction is first order.But here as  V =1.62  so   V-Vt    comes out to be negative, which is not possible              as       1.62-10= -8.38So kindly verify the question.
