how to use log & antilogtable to find square roots
Always use the following steps:
see lets find out square root of 33.
x=root 33
putting log on both sides
log x = log (33)12
now, look for 0 house of 33 i.e column of 0 in 33
its 5185 now 33 has two digits so 2-1 = 1
so, log (33)1/2 =1/2 * 1.5185
= 0.7592
now log x = 0.7592
x = antilog (0.7592)
look in 9 th column of .75 in antilog table, itz 5741
now see 2nd column in mean difference , itz 3
now add both of them i.e 5741+3 = 5744
so antilog (0.7592) = 5744
before decimal we have 0 so add 1 n the answer u got put decimal after 1 digit
i.e 5.744
so the root of 33 is 5.744.
if it helps one thumbs up plzz.....
