The female condom is a thin sheath or pouch worn by a woman during sex which completely lines the vagina. It is a kind of contraceptive device that prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. It physically block the semen containing sperms from entering the female's body.

The male condom is also a thin sheath worn by males on penis as means of birth control and to prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
