how to write preface to a school project?

A preface is an introduction to a book or other research work. It is written by the author and includes the following things:

- write why you chose the topic

- about your research

- sources and influences

- describe the topic: it's advantages, weaknesses, conclusions

- acknowledgments:  whom you want to thank, etc.
