how was the education in the land of lilliput

In Lilliput, the children were not raised by their parents but they were raised by the kingdom. Parents were not at all responsible for educating their children. They believed that parents were the last of all others to be trusted with the education of their children. They also did not live with their children. They sent their children to be reared and educated at schools. These schools were chosen in accordance with the parent's station and finances. Children of farmers stayed home to work.
