How were the criminal tribes harassed by the Britishers ?

1. Criminal tribes were expected to live only in the notified village settlements. Grazing and hunting by local people were restricted.
2. They were not allowed to move without permit.The village police kept a continuous watch on them.
3. They were forced to work in factories, mines and plantations under government supervision which affected their lives badly.
