even i am not familiar with this but may be noise pollution reduces peace and i feel that keeping quite really decreases environmental pollution

Keeping quiet mean avoiding destructive and harmful activities.The environment is already harmed by the regular and illegal activities of humans so if we will keep quiet and introspect ourself we will protect our environment in a way.

A silence can do asset to us because we are ready to achieve Unity in this quietness. Keeping quiet mean avoiding destructive and harmful activities which will initiate peace and brotherhood among men, halting all destructive activities like waging Wars which harm people besides damaging environment ,hence the environment will be protected.
