how will we distinguish between chloroethane chlorobenzene?

Difference between Chloroethane and Chlorobenzene :
Chloroethane is an aliphatic compound whereas chlorobenzene is an aromatic compound in which chlorine is directly attached to the benzene ring. Due to this, there will be resonance in the chlorobenzene which makes the carbon-chlorine bond stronger than a single bond.
Reactions:
Aliphatic chloroethane can react with alc. KOH whereas chlorobenzene can not react with alc.KOH due to partial double bond character.
