How will you prepare the following from acetelyne or ethyne

Ethyledine di iodide
Acetylin tetra bromide
Ethyledin di hydrogen sulphate
Vinyl chloride

Dear Student,

The given compounds can be prepared from acetylene in the following manner:

1. Ethyledine diiodide or 1,1-Diiodooethane by electrophilic addition HCCH            + HI          (I)CH2=CH2I + HI (I2)CH-CH3 Ethyne        Hydrogen iodide    Iodoethene                    1,1-Diiodoethane2. Acetylene tetrabromide or 1,1,2,2,-Tetrabromoethane by halogenation in the presence of an inert solvent        HCCH  + Br2 CCl4 BrCH2=CH2Br + Br2 CCl4 Br2CH-CHBr2

3. First, we will convert ethyne to ethene by hydrogenation in the presence of Lindlar's catalyst. Then, we will add concentrated sulphuric acid for electrophilic addition to the ethene.
H-CC-HLindlar CatalystH2H2C=CH2
Image result for ethene with h2so4
Ethyl sulphate or ethylidene dihydrogen sulphate is formed.

4.  We will add HCl to acetylene for electrophilic addition to form vinyl chloride.

HCCH + HCl 120 - 180 oC CH2=CHCl (vinyl chloride)

Hope this helps.
