Human activities are largely responsible for water scarcity. Justify the statement.

Dear Student,
Water is the life and the various civilizations of the world were grown at the bank of rivers. But enormous and wrong use of water has produced the dangerous condition before us.By many ways we can see that human activities are largely responsible for water scarcity.
1. As the rapid increase in a global population consuming more water. In order to provide for a growing population, dams and irrigation systems are built to supply fresh water to remote areas which checks the environmental balance.
2. Deforestation is one of the major activity for not to hold water capacity in soils which ultimately affects the groundwater level.
3. Changes that can occur to landscapes include forest clearance, crop- or grazing lands replacing grasslands or other natural terrestrial ecosystems, urbanization (leading to changes in infiltration and runoff patterns as well to pollution), wetlands removal or reduction, new roadwork for transportation, and mining in quarries or large-scale open pits causes huge loss of water.
