i am confused where to put which preposition?

like:- The cat is sitting under the table. It comes after an object and asks ' Where the cat is sitting '

put the one u think is right and then say it a loud so that if it is wrong u will feel hesitation in speaking that sentence and suddenly the correct preposition will strike ur mind. or else ask sumone who better than u in this field if english.....
