When the rain descends in the form of shower, the parched earth gets relief. Earth is rejuvenated. It washes away dust and cleanses the earth. Plants which were hidden in bud, start growing. It gives a new life to earth thus making it beautiful. So as a poem alleviate the pain and boredom of a person’s heart, in the same way the rain soothes the earth’s heart.
