Such questions need to be attempted on your own to test your creative writing skills. However, these points might help you elaborate:

Effects:
-tsunami causes havoc in the coastal regions
-many dead, countless injured
- thousands rendered homeless, fishing boats and trawlers damaged
-panic and depression among masses
-government agencies provide relief, NGOs donate generously
-real work by people of the coastal region to get their lives back on track
-orphans adopted by local families, widows looked after
-houses built by local youth with the help of NGOS
-new trawlers bought with money given by insurance companies
-counseling organised by psychiatrists to fight depression
-epidemics avoided by cleaning up and clearing of dead, decomposing bodies by survivors

Disaster management:

- None of us knows when disaster might strike.

- The public needs to be well prepared and the authorities need to be 'war-ready' for such situations.

- The first step is to make the pubic aware of the dos and dont's in such a situation-leave home for higher ground in floods, step out of bidings in an earthquake, keep calm, help each other, etc.

- Then comes the readiness of the evacuation plan and provision of search and rescue, medical help, food and shelter to the victims.

- School curriculums need to include disaster management to make the children aware of and ready for any such calamity.
