I did not understand this part: A jagged line () or broken line has been used along the horizontal axis to indicate that" we are not showing the data between 0 and 130." explain pls !!

Dear Student!

The frequency distribution corresponding to the given histogram can be given as,

Class IntervalFrequency

130 – 135

135 – 140

140 – 145

145 – 150

150 – 155

1

3

5

3

4

In the frequency distribution table, there are no observation between 0 and 130 or the observations between 0 and 130 are not considered.

Thus, the ragged line has been used along the horizontal arms to indicate that there are no observation between 0 and 130 or we are not considering the data between 0 and 130.

Cheers!

It simply means that the data been shown there is to be starting from 130 if there is no data between 0 to 130,

the jagged line actually(i guess)indicates that there is no data and because the line was too long the crushed it and that why it looks like its jaged, well that was the logic in the mind of the person who thought this!
