I got confuse between Rabi and kharif crop.

Please tell me how to learn the definition of Rabi and kharif crop.

RABI CROPS: The crops that are sown in winter season is called rabi crops.
ex:wheat,barley ,oats 


KHARIF CROPS:The crops that are sown in summer season is called kharif crops.
ex:rice, maize,groundnut.

Easy way to learn the difference between Rabi and Kharif crops:
Kharif crops: remember that K for KULFI andK for KHARIF. When we buy kulfi in summers and when we sow kharif corps, in summe, so remember k for kulfi and k for kharif , kharif cropa done now what is let kharif crops

RABI crops are the crops that are sown after the end of the monsoon, i.e. during the winter season

Rabi?based on the monsoon. The?kharif cropping?season is from July ?October during the south-west monsoon and the?Rabi cropping?season is from October-March (winter). The?crops?grown between March and June are summercrops..

Rabi=> It means spring in arabic. They r usually sown in Oct.(with beginning of winter) & harvested in March(during spring). They r alao known as winter crops. The major rabi crops r wheat, pea, mustard & barley.
Kharif=>It means autumn in arabic. They r usually sown in July(with beginning of monsoon) & harvested in Oct.(during autumn). They r also called summer/ monsoon crops. The major kharif crps r millets(bajra& jowar), paddy(rice), maize, groundnut, soyabean, sugarcane & cotton.

It is really easy to be learned. Just learn as rabi and rainy both are starting from r so they are inversely proportional means they are opposite. If you have problem in learning their duration you can just think of rainy season it bagans from June and end in October same with winter season it begans from November and end in April. It is easy to remember things it is just that we should know to link them with one another

In Rabi (winter) season, you rub (rub-i) against blankets trying to stay warm.
In Kharif (rainy) season, you have to use a car (car-if) to get around; scooters would get you wet.

1.kharif crops are shown in June or july , and harvested by September or October. Examples of kharif crops are rice, maize, millet, groundnut, cotton, pulses, etc.

2.Rabi crops are sown in October or November , and harvested by march or April . Examples of rabi crops are barley, mustard, potato, wheat, gram, etc.
