decomposers are also categorised as consumers? For example, plants are the producers, grasshoppers are the primary consumers, frogs are the secondary consumers, snakes are the tertiary consumers, eagles are the quaternary consumers and will the decomposers also come as consumers or.....?

They would be regarded as  decomposers. They are feeding on the dead bodies of the organisms so they are not influencing the population of any organism. They are obtaining their nutrition from the dead bodies which is a waste for other organisms. So, they are mainly performing the function of cleaning the environment.
