I've some queries from chapter Coal and Petroleum. Please clear them.

1. As we know Petroleum is referred to ask Black 'Gold' but Gold's cost is too high.. and petroleum components cost is not too much high.. then except the preciousness how can it be compared with Gold?

2. Water is made of H2O i.e. 2 Atoms of Hydrogen and 1 atom of Oxygen. But they both are gas. So, how they resulted into liquid i.e. water?

3. Carbon dioxide is CO2.. where O is oxygen and C is carbon which is obtained from Charcoal. So, why don't we see Carbon in the air or the air we exhale?

4. How Petroleum is separated into different components? I know with the help of Fractional Distillation but please explain me the whole process or send a video.

Dear StudentSolution to Q.1 has been provided below:1. Petroleum is called as black gold because when crude oil is extracted from the land it is black in colour. It is referred to as gold because of its oils and value and It is very difficult to find.Gold here is not referring to actual gold metal.As gold metal is precious, petroleum is also precious, and it is black in colour when extracted, so it called as black gold.2. After the reaction, properties of both oxygen and hydrogen changes, water is produced, and it has different properties from both hydrogen and oxygen. Water exist in solid, liquid and gas phase depending upon the temperature.3. After the reaction, properties of both oxygen and carbon changes,  carbon dioxide is produced which is a gas, and it has different properties from both carbon and oxygenFor remaining queries, kindly ask them in separate thread to get rapid assistance from our experts.Regards
