Dear Bindu,
How are you? I am fine here and am eager to share something with you. This year, our school had organised some good educational field trips for us and our class was scheduled to go to an orphanage. The whole class refused to go to such a place, Then our English teacher explained to us that this orphanage is very different from others. Here children make different things with their hands and attend school too. The orphanage is managed by a very good organisation which wants to give the orphans a chance to survive in this world. After hearing this we all agreed to go.
When we reached there we were amazed to see that it was very neat and clean and had a lovely garden. Some children were tending to the plants and watering them. These children were wearing a blue and white uniform that was clean and ironed. As we moved further we saw different children doing some work or the other. They seemed very happy and chatted with each other while they worked. To one side was the school and children were studying there. Then we were taken to an open shed where many children of different ages were working. Some were learning to paint, some were busy in making small tables and chairs while some were stitching blue and white uniforms. The younger ones were making flowers and small items of decoration. Everything needed in the orphanage was made there itself.
When we returned in the evening, I was a changed person. Now I realised orphans are not to be despised but they should get our love. I also learnt the dignity of labour and in future shall never feel shy to do my own work.
I hope you can see this orphanage too.
Convey my love to your parents and sister.

Your loving
