I want a solution for this question:-

Is 53240 a perfect cube ? If not, then by which smallest number should it be divided so that the quotient is a perfect cube ?

Prime factorisation of 53240 is given by,

53240 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 5 × 11 × 11 × 11

Since prime factor '5' does not occur in a group of three, hence the given number is not a perfect cube.

To make it a perfect cube we have to divide the given number by 5.

53240 ÷ 5 = 10648 [perfect cube]

53240

no it is not a perfect cube

prime factors=2*2*2*2*5*11*11*11

the prime factors 2 and 5 are not in the group of three. to make it a perfect cube we have to divide 53240 by 2 and 5

2*5=10

the smallest number by which 53240 should be divided is 10.

do get the ans if it is a perfect cube v first wil factorize it n wil get-

2*2*2*5*11*11*11=

here 2 n 11 r in pair bt not 5

so v will divide both sides by 5

therefore,53240/5wil b the cube of 2*2*2*5*11*11*11/5=

10648 is the cube of 22

tehrefore, the smallset no. by wich 53240 shud be divided is 5
