Solution
Metabolic pathway is linked series of chemical reaction which occur within a cell and reactants, products and intermediate are called metabolites. Glycolysis which is Metabolic pathway also has many steps(10 step) and convert glucose to pyruvic acid and all steps are catalysed by different enzymes.
In 1st step glucose is converted to glucose 6 phosphate by enzyme hexokinase, in the Second step glucose 6 phosphate is isomerised to fructose 6 phosphate by enzyme phosphoglucomutase, third step convert fructose 6 phosphate to fructose 1,6 bisphosphate by phosphofructokinase enzyme.
Fourth step converts fructose 1,6 bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate and dihydroxyacetonephosphate by enzyme by enzyme aldolase, in fifth step dihydroxyacetonephosphate is converted to glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate by enzyme triose  phosphate isomerase, then this glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate is converted to 1,3 bisphosphoglycerate by glyceraldehyde 3 phosphate dehydrogenase, then 1,3 bisphosphoglycerate is converted to 2 molecules of phosphoglycerate by enzyme phosphoglycerokinase, then these molecules of phosphoglycerate is converted to 2 phosphoglycerate by phosphoglyceromutase enzyme and 2 phosphoglycerate is converted to phosphoenolpyruvate by enzyme enolase and lastly pyruvate is formed from phosphoenolpyruvate using enzyme pyruvatekinase.
