1) Here the Chieftain of Ulva seems to be in a hurry to take him and his loverm over the ferry, he says to the boat man that he ill give him a silver pound to take them over the ferry over thestormysea and awway from the land
2)The boatman says in astonishment Who are you and why would u cross Lochgyle.He answers in response that he is the Chieftain of Ulva andhe introduces his lover.
3)The chieftain wants the boat man to take them overthe ferry before thearmed men take him away. He says that heand his lover hve travelled forthree days.
4) He also says lordUllin's men are not far behind thier trail,if they had discovered our foot steps , they wouldsurely kill him and them he says who would cheer my bonny bride?
5)The boat man accepts their request and sayshe is not doingif for a silver pound but for your winsome lady.
6)The boatman says he will not let the both of them especially the bonny bride in danger and he accepts torow them over the ferry
7)By that time the storm had grew large and thewaves became more fierce and the sky andthecoulds became dark
8)And as the storm grew biggerthey could hear the steps of horse men
9) shesaid to the boatsman toquickly go, she even decided that she would meet the storm, the raging skys but notanangry father
10)The boats man took tem away from a stormy land ,a land filled with her father's rage, and was fast approaching a stormy sea
11) When they were already into the stormLord Ullin appeared hisrage was not y rage it was wailing, he was crying for his daughter to come back
12)in the stormy sea he saw his child , she had stretch'd for aid and one hand was around her lover
13) Heshouted to his daughter to come back across the sea , he saidhe would forgive the chieftain and shouted for his daughter
14) the waves never let her to give aid thewaves water showed its fury and went over them and he couldn't see them anymore and was left lamenting
