"I was absolutely not interested in all that stored stuff who was not interested".why?

The narrator(Marga Minco) was not interested in the stored stuff in NO. 46, Marcony Street because when the person who is associated with a thing is not present, the thing loses its value. The things belonged to her mother and her mother was not present(dead) at the time. The things reminded her of the loss of house, family and the belongings of her mother due to the war. Therefore, she was not interested in all the stored stuff.
