firstly organic farming means a type of farming which involves the application/usage of organic farm inputs such as vermicompost , cow dung manure etc and is based on biological plant protection measures.

then comes benefits of organic farming

  • As it excludes the usage of synthetic/man-made inputs it does not cause pollution
  • organic fields have more nutrient content in the soil
  • As it excludes the usage of synthetic/man-made fertilizers , pesticides there is more biological activity in the form of bacterias such as rhizobium(converts nitrogen in the air into plant consumable nitrogen)
  • crop production rate change a little over the time
  • feritility of the soil , instead of falling , rises over the time
  • organic produce have considerably high level of vitamins
