a. Temporal classification is the type of classification in which the data is classified on the basis of time and therefore different periods of time help in bifurcation of the collected data. For example, Sale of washing machines during the period of time from 2006 to 2010.
b. Qualitative classification is the type of classification in which the data is classified on the basis of quality and this quality helps in bifurcation of the collected data. For example, Data of unemployment may relate to the skilled and unskilled workers.
c. Quantitative classification is the type of classification in which the data is classified on the basis of quantitative characteristics of the data and this quantitative attribute is used to bifurcate the data. For example, Data on the heights of the children between the different ages of the children population.
d. Spatial classification is the type of classification in which the data is classified on the basis of the place or location and place helps in the bifurcation of the collected data that from which place the quantitative figure belongs to. For example, Data on the no. of unemployed workers of the states of India.
