9^x+2-9^x=240

9^x.9²-9^x=240

9^x(81-1)=240

9^x X 80 = 240

9^x = 240/80

9^x=3  (9 = 3²)

(3²)^x=3

3^2x=3

2x=1

x=1/2

9x+2=240+9x

9x-9x=240-2

x=238

it should be 1/2 by this equation  9^x+2=240+9^x

but if it should 9x +2 =240+9x then its answer is 238
